We are now offering some very serious mods to the Transporter with more mods to come:

1.  We remove the entire stock output stage and in its place install our super duper dual mono output stage using some radical high current wideband amps hardwired using one pole of filtering and all modified film cap (no electrolyic caps on the power supply rails) power supply combo.  The output is coupled to the single ended output jacks through a 50 ohm resistor and a modified film cap bypassed by another modded film cap (times two for balanced outs).  If you don't have this done you have no idea how transparent the Transporter can be.  The stock output stage has two 5534 op amps, a bad coupling cap and at least 5 poles of filtering using ordinary parts......our output stage with single pole filtering is mindblowingly more transparent, dynamic and real sounding.  We also use our newly developed shunt regulators for both the positive and negative 12 volt power supplies of both channels (these new super low impedance, super wide band completely discrete shunt regulators are sonically way superior to Dexa, Burson, Audiocom Invisus or Tent labs regulators).  The power supply transformer in the Transporter is way small (rated at 3.2 watts).  Using our high current output stage and shunt regulators causes the transformer to sag seriously.  So, we also replace the 3.2 watt transformer with a 43 watt split bobbin transformer (glued to a piece of hardwood for isolation from chassis and wired with cotton covered 5N copper wires) and our own raw power supply consisting of our fave soft recovery diodes, audio grade electrolytic caps and modified film bypasses......cost is $500 for unbalanced only or ... $575 for unbalanced and balanced outs.  This output stage/shunt regulator/film cap combo has very little sonic signature and has better bass and dynamics than either passive or tranformer coupled outputs.  This output stage is a breakthrough and will make the Transporter sound so much more musical, dynamic and detailed.   A whole different game compared to stock.  All power supplies and output stages are completely wired by hand (hardwired on perf boards/no circuit board).  Most all hook up wires are two different gauges of very pure copper inserted in cotton sleeving.  All important boards and parts are damped with contrained layer damping material and/or special glue.  This is hours or labor!!!  No one on the planet except me would do such a crazy thing.....get it while you can!  Some modders are asking $2000 for an output stage that may sound different from ours but will not give you any more real information.  This is going to blow your mind! 

2.  Add two Jensen 4 pole 10,000 uf caps to the raw power supply for even cleaner sound.  $150.   

3.  Replace the stock 5V regulator to the DAC with our new shunt regulator and film cap bypasses.  This regulator runs off the 43 watt tranny, as well.  We add another two diodes to the raw supply along with another audio grade electrolytic cap and film bypass.   $100.    You can add another Jensen 4 pole to the raw supply for the DAC for another $75 .

We can do the output stage mods any time now.  We are so confident in what we are doing here that we will give you your money back and put it back to stock if you do not like the results.
