Mods to the Sony 5400 player

VSE has a great mod to the Sony 5400 for around $1600.  However, they do not do any transport mods, esoteric mods or change the power supply to the DAC chip.  We will mod all these things for free for the first person to send a VSE modded 5400 here.  After that we will figure out the price of the mod (maybe $200? or so) and put it on this page.  Remember our $200 mod equals most $4-600 mods.....so you get a lot here.

We might also do full mods to the 5400 but are so busy with Oppo mods and also the Oppo does so many things that the Sony does not that right now it just does not make sense.  Which machine with full mods will sound better?  We shall see.  Once I have a VSE in here with my additional mods I can A/B with my all out Oppo 83SE and let everyone know which sounds best on CD and SACD.  The Oppo also does HDCD, 24/96 DVD, DVD-A, DVD movies and Blue Ray movies and concerts and costs less.
