1. Benchmark DAC 1 Pre: Very little use and has a $1173 mod from Parts Connexion. The unit is $1600 new, so the there is $2773 in it. Selling for $1900. Very, very little use. Great shape. Pics and Parts Connexion invoice below: This is some serious machine with a really great mod in it. You can see the 627 op amps, Blackgate caps, Dexa Regs, etc. in the pics. I listened to it on the bench through its headphone amp and was seriously impressed......so much so that I had to open it up to see why is sounded so good.
2. Music First Audio Classic passive preamp: This highly regarded passive preamp uses the Stevens and Billington transformers along with Elna switches. Orginally sold for $2995. $1900.....great shape except some of the numbers have rubbed off around the volume knob. Superb sound and includes balanced ins and outs as well, 6 db gain option and 3 position grounding option.
